The “We” in Wetlands: An on the Water Family Program
The Coastal Studies Institute presents the first in a series of fun and educational outings for the whole family! Join CSI scientists and educators for an active, engaging, and occasionally messy science adventure on the Croatan Sound. This program will cover estuarine and food web basics while exploring the ecological relationships that surround us. Families will team up to pull seine nets, identify organisms and objects, reenact a food web, and have a great time learning together in this interactive, fun program.
This is a hands-on, boat-based educational program in the Croatan Sound designed for family members age 6 and up to participate in together. Coastal and estuarine topics will vary from program to program. Boat use is weather permitting, and participants are asked to wear closed-toe, water appropriate shoes.
Cost is $8 per participant. Register here!
