Bio

Kimberly Armstrong joined the Institute in March 2011. She performs a variety of administrative, secretarial, and office support duties for the Director, Business Officer, and staff. Her day-to-day tasks include answering the phone, greeting visitors, arranging meetings, event planning, and the handling of e-mail correspondence and travel details. In her leisure time, Kimberly enjoys brisk walks and adventurous bike rides around the town of Manteo, kayaking along the myriad scenic and quiet waterways, and relaxing with a book on the beach. And she is not opposed to venturing into the surf with a Boogie Board when the waves are breaking just right.
