Bio
Amy was born and raised in central Kentucky and had always been passionate about pursuing a career in the sciences along the coast. Amy moved to Hatteras Island in 2011 where she worked primarily in natural resource management. She joined the CSI Team in November 2024.

Research Interests
Amy’s current research interests broadly focus on the influence that marine energy generation has on coastal and marine ecosystems.

Supporting environmental monitoring programs and permitting needs as they relate to all renewable ocean energy projects.
