ECU Semester Experience at the Coast
An OBX Semester for ECU Undergraduates
The ECU Semester Experience At the Coast had its inaugural season in 2020 on the ECU Outer Banks Campus. Through this program, around 20 ECU undergraduate students interested in coastal studies have the opportunity to live and learn on the Outer Banks during the spring semester. The Semester Experience at the Coast offers a variety of hands-on, lab and field-based experiences to complement course work relevant to coastal sciences and resources.

Based at the Coastal Studies Institute (CSI), the North Carolina Renewable Ocean Energy Program (NCROEP) advances inter-disciplinary marine energy solutions across UNC System partner colleges of engineering at NC State University, UNC Charlotte, and NC A&T University.
