Join us for a film screening of Episode 3 of the PBS docuseries “Hope in the Water” at the Pioneer Theater in Manteo, NC, on April 20. “Changing the Menu” explores creative approaches to diversifying our seafood diets and how that change is impacting menus worldwide.
The pre-party begins at 5:30 pm, featuring food from Basnight’s Lone Cedar Café food truck, drinks available for purchase, and educational info from community partners. The screening begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by a panel discussion and cookbook giveaway.
This event is part of Coastal Studies Institute’s Science on the Sound Lecture Series and in celebration of Earth Week. Event partners include the Coastal Studies Institute, North Carolina Sea Grant, the Outer Banks Visitor’s Bureau, Feb By Blue, and the Pioneer Theater.

The event is FREE for all to attend, but tickets must be reserved in advance.
