Corey has been a part of the CSI team since 2005 and currently manages campus and research operations. Corey was raised in Hampton, Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay and has always been interested in coastal environments. His hobbies include kayaking, hiking, golfing and almost anything outside on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Current Projects
Corey manages campus and research operations at the ECU Outer Banks Campus and Coastal Studies Institute. He facilitates the safe and efficient use of CSI resources while working to continually improve operational policy, systems, as well as research and education capabilities across disciplines.
Based at the Coastal Studies Institute (CSI), the North Carolina Renewable Ocean Energy Program (NCROEP) advances inter-disciplinary marine energy solutions across UNC System partner colleges of engineering at NC State University, UNC Charlotte, and NC A&T University. ECU's Integrated Coastal Programs (ECU ICP) is a leader in coastal and marine research, education, and engagement. ECU ICP includes the Coastal Studies Institute, ECU's Department of Coastal Studies, and ECU Diving and Water Safety.
The ECU Outer Banks campus is home to the Coastal Studies Institute.
