Join us for a special Earth Day screening of INUNDATION DISTRICT on April 22, 2024, on the ECU Outer Banks Campus. Directed by David Abel, the film explores how one city ignored climate threats, spending billions to build a new waterfront district- at sea level rise, on landfill, and in the bullseye of rising seas.
The event, co-sponsored by ECU Water Resources Center, ECU Sustainability, and Coastal Studies Institute, will occur from 6- 8 PM, and will also be streamed on ECU’s Greenville Campus in the Black Box Theater. A panel discussion will take place immediately following the screening. The program is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
