Bio
Lindsay is a Research Technician with Dr. Mike Muglia in the Oceanography and Marine Hydrokinetic Energy Lab. She completed her M.A. in Maritime History and Underwater Archaeology from ECU in 2023 and is now a Ph.D. student in Integrated Coastal Sciences. Her research focuses on the intersections of Gulf Stream and shelf-slope dynamics, shipwreck monitoring in the Cape Hatteras region, and the development of oceanographic tools for marine renewable energy applications. She currently leads a project through the North Carolina Renewable Ocean Energy Program to expand low-cost, open-source environmental observing technology on the Outer Banks. An avid diver, Lindsay enjoys any time on or in the water, especially with her dog, Goose.
